Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Currently, at this stage in my apprenticeship, my duties include administrative tasks. these include, being the first point of contact to inbound calls and directing these calls to the necessary consultants, job advertising and candidate sourcing through external job boards
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I am really enjoying improving my skills everyday and aspiring to one day be the best recruiter i can possibly be. I enjoy taking on feedback and implementing this into my work everyday.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt so many skills since working here, which college was never able to teach me and i did not believe university would either. The main one for me is being able to adapt to different incoming calls and situations over the phone and developing my people's skills. During my time here i have had many different people talk to me over the phone and with many different situations and needs. You have to be able to adapt your style under pressure to best suit the needs of candidates and clients to ensure all external stakeholders remain satisfied with the service we provide.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

It is really well structures and the support we receive is amazing. The support network is great as we have support from our line manager and former line manager to ensure we make quality progress.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

We receive great support from our employer who allows us lots of time to complete work and is always open to questions and support when we need it with tasks.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

lots of support , our trainer is always open to emails and we have regular meetings and reviews on progress.

The apprenticeship scheme is brilliant as there is a clear end goal and route into recruitment. The working environment is great too, positive and friendly.
