Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I assist my line manager in the day to day management of a variety of different projects. This involves managing project schedules and budgets; identifying and managing risks; engaging with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The programme is extremely enjoyable with new challenges and opportunities for development always available. Their are many avenues of support available to help me reach my goals.

I have developed many of my existing skills and been given the opportunity to identify and my own areas for development and been supported to learn new skills.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme has a great structure with a comprehensive training plan to help me push myself and develop a diverse skill set to support my future career.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer provides excellent support both in the form of coaching and additional training courses and materials. My line manager values my apprenticeship and is supportive of my seeking extra opportunities to develop my skills and behaviours.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My training provider provides excellent support both in and out of term times. My tutors are readily available and very supportive with any queries or concerns I may have.

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

My training provider gives me a good theoretical underpinning of the way project management has developed and the thinking behind the different aspects of the profession.

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are many professional networking events available for the apprentice population within BAE Systems and an apprentice council who organise social activities.
