Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
In a day to day basis I handle data from multiple sources such as excel or databases and transform it into whatever is required, whever that is changing the structure, creating charts to uncover answers or writing code. In a simple sense I take what people don't understand (lots of data from lost of spreadsheets) and make it understandable (a dashboard).
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I get to work with cutting edge technology, within a great team and always opportunities to socialise with other apprentices, whether your cohort or other schemes.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have been able to learn how to use many different tools for handling data, as well as building on some skills learnt in college.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
I have set uni days and set placement days, allowing me to balance both sets of work. But if need be as long as I get approval from my manager I can do uni work on a placement day if I have a lot to do.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
My employer always provides me with support, whether schemes like buddy system, support from Early Careers with enrichment activities and opportunities to work abroad.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
I have finished the first year of uni and so far I've not had any questions but my course reps from the company have been able to solve any issues we've had and these improvements have been passed to lower cohorts.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
2/5
In first year I feel I have learnt much more from my placement work than university and I have only used a small amount of what I've learnt at uni, however with level 5 starting starting soon I'm hoping this will be more useful.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
There is a lot of professional networking events to get involved with within the company whether they are held onsite or at an external event. For social activities there's always opportunities within your cohort and all schemes in general.
