Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Helping to create, control and develop project plans, finances and present these findings within meetings and reporting packs. Very sociable giving you the opportunity to collaborate with many people across different sectors and functions.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

thoroughly enjoy my programme, lots of opportunities to be involved in all sort of work, even trying out different roles and is helping me develop key skills and behaviours to be a great project manager.

we have clear placements within work and our university modules clearly set out for the 5 year programme, ensuring we hit all necessary requirements.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

we have line managers, functional managers, buddies, skills coaches, mentors and university tutors who we report to on daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis, allowing us to feel supported with any scenarios.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

we attend weekly sessions going over university content with the option to email or set up calls if needs be.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

it provides a good knowledge around the work I'm doing and the KSBs we need to hit as an requirement, helping me preform my daily tasks with deeper understanding within the workplace.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes there are sports teams and chats you can be involved in, regular socials that are cross-functional and amongst all sectors, with the choice being your own with how many you'd like to be part of.

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?
ensure you look into what the role entails and the businesses background for interviews, thinking of situations you have dealt with already and how they'd like to these and be prepared to do a bit of travel within work (this is one of the best opportunities of the job role).
