Generally very well-structured, combining high-level academic study with on-the-job training, providing a rigorous, practical alternative to going back to full time learning. They are specifically designed to build professional, management, and leadership skills.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I had to pause my learning as my employer was not supportive to my learning, however since starting a new position within Sodexo my employer is much more supportive about developing their team and has been wonderful.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I have to call out my tutor for being incredibly supportive and understanding. When I was struggling before I paused my learning he could tell I needed time to concentrate on other things, but has always kept in touch to get me back on the learning path and has been very supportive helping to answer all my questions.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I have a greater understanding of operations and the skills needed to be a better leader.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

I am part of a running club and volunteer to marshal at events. I am also a Poll Clark when it comes to election times which is always good fun.
