I work within the SOC team doing hands on security monitoring for our customers. I am able to shadow different teams and make the most of all the resources and intelligence from colleagues.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The employer is great and I take part in many social events. There is a sense of community within the graduate and apprenticeship cohort. The role is intriguing and the support is excellent.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I’ve developed a range of technical skills such as SIEM monitoring, log analysis, query writing, network configuration etc.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Everything within the workplace is well managed, however sometimes the learning provider can be unorganised which impacts my time management.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I always have someone to talk to, and members of my team and others are happy to teach us new concepts and skills.

Regular progress review meetings with line manager and progress coach. I do sometimes have to ask for additional information regarding assignments.
