My role is a customer facing role in cyber security.
It involves communicating with different teams in the organisation. Collating threat intel and informing the customer, creating customer reports based on SOC logs, and presenting in customer facing forums and meetings.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The company and apprenticeship provide invaluable support. The company is very supportive and allows you to network with different teams and roles allowing you to discover what you enjoy and are good at. In regards to the university you have access to a wide range of resources and the lectures are extremely supportive.

Yes I have learnt the core foundations of networking including how to read logs, establish connectivity and access lists.
