Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

As an talent management & Performance Specialist on a day-to-day basis I am required to go on HR Hub and answer any technical issues employees have when trying to access their learning or if they need any learning history uploaded to their account. I also take calls if any staff members need further assistance via teams calls.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I love the apprenticeship programme so much support everywhere it can be from my managers, my mentors or my coach who are all such help and this has allowed me to get ahead of my apprenticeship and gain a greater understanding of the topics and become more confident with the important skills of which I have retained so far from the apprenticeship and this is only the start.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learned so many new skills so far especially with Excel with functions such as pivot tables, anonymising data, have learned a lot about conditional formatting, also my formulas on excel I have become a lot more knowledgeable about them and when the best ones to use are.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Very organised and well laid out which means accessing any content is very easy for me to do, I know where all the resources I need to find are.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Have mentors and peers who constantly support me and have their communications open constantly so I can ask any questions or teams them about anything I don't understand.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My coach is amazing and is always so supportive and I have now become ahead of the apprenticeship and now has made me very confident.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It does because especially when doing learning history uploads I use Excel a lot well as an admin I use excel a lot but I am now more efficient with the uploads due to the formulas making the process quicker and more accurate.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Networking events there's good opportunities for I remember when I hadn't been at the company long and went to one of the Sodexo Sites and got to speak to lots of lovely members of staff about any learning and development questions they had. We were also assisting people with going down the development pathway especially as a frontline worker and was very fun and a good experience.

Why?
Such a professional company with such lovely employees as well who are like a second family to me and always looking out for everyone and there's such a lovely harmony with how well the teams work together and especially when I first joined I gelled with the team straight away.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Sodexo UK?
Make sure your confidence, just be yourself and always make sure your putting your best foot forward and actually make sure you are knowledgeable before hand to give you the best chances.
