Placements vary from year to year. Current role involves new systems, processing and team meetings. Feel that there could be more challenges and better team integration.

I have learnt lots about new programmes and skills both on placement and at college as I have never studied or worked in finance of economics.

The structure is good. There could be development with access to resources.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I feel that it is not clear who to go to when needing support. Supportive resources on Canvas that I feel would be helpful, I am often unable to access.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Kaplan has lots of well organised resources like practice exams, questions and extra lessons. Where this support is not enough I am able to reach out to my teacher or a helpline. All resources are clear, easy to access and help develop my understanding when lessons have been confusing.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

So far the qualification has not supported my day to day role, rather it has developed my understanding of the finance and accounting world as a whole.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

STEM ambassador opportunities are not easy to access and are often not related to my role. There is an abundance of networking events.
