1/5
Yeovil college are not consistent in teaching, this is known across years of apprentices from multiple companies. Issues have been raised to the college but nothing has changed
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
College is far too laid back and sometimes watch videos for entire 3 hour lessons which does not help anyone. No practical experience is really given which would be useful for people who have not done it for future roles
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
2/5
Not much in Weymouth for apprentices

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend BAE Systems to a friend?
Yes
Why?
Company itself is fantastic, everyone at work is really nice and willing to help as well as understanding you are an apprentice and pushing you just the right amount while allowing enough time for studies
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?
Get experience everywhere you can such as work experience. Practical engineering will help in the interview process as you can answer questions with more depth compared to A level people who don't have that experience and will also help with roles in the future.
