Apprentice Project Manager Review

I am responsible for the day to day delivery of projects. I manage costs, programme and quality. Every day is different as a project manager but some frequent tasks include:
- Meeting with clients/sponsors to agree scope and provide updates
- Reviewing designs to ensure they meet criteria
- Ensuring compiance to the project process

My university timetable means that I work 5 days a week then 3 days a week. I have sometimes found it difficult to manage workload due to this.

My line manager costantly checks that the project I am working on help with my university course. My line manager has also been very good at checking that I am progressing towards my EPA as we have discussed and always offers to help where he can.

For the most part, my training provider gives me adequate support, however, there have been times where I have been given contradicting information about assignments and assessments. I has definately improved throughout the duration of my course though.

I feel like project management is able to be learnt through practicing it, however, my university course helps understand how project managerment works in other companies, giving ideas on how we can improve processes here.

The experince I am gaining through this apprenticeship is amazing. I am able to get exposure to a wide range of projects and have an incredible support system at work. I was made to feel very welcomed when joining and was assigned a buddy and a mentor to help make a smooth transition into the team.
