Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Assisting the actuarial team with their work. This included Valuations, Factor Reviews, Billing, Risk Modelling, Client Emails and RSG work.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes a good amount of responsibility was given from varying seniority levels. Everyone was always happy to help out if I was ever stuck on anything or had any questions.

Learnt a lot more about the actuarial profession. My financial knowledge has significantly expanded too via all the training videos available

There was a lot of support and guidance given. From the Buddy System to the colleagues in your office there were various avenues of accessing support. The internship was structured to expose you to as many people as possible but in meaningful way.
