Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I am in the workshop 3 days a week and classroom based work 2 days a week. I learn maths health and safety and mechanical principles on one of the classroom days and the other classroom day I work on write ups from jobs I have done in the work shop

Yes my math skills have improved along with working on pumps, valves and gearboxes which I didn’t already know.

We recently done something called apprentice challenge where we created a power point about robots and presented it infront of the group

I think it’s a great place to have a career where you will learn a trade which will give you a job for life. The job also has great perks such as a pension
