I do EnI where I do 3 sections. Instrumentation, fault finding and motors, soldering and fire alarms.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

It is good when doing work but when in instrumentation we didn’t have an instructor for a month.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt new skills in instruments and fault finding and motors. But could’ve learnt more in instrumentation if I had an instructor from the start

How well organised/structured is your programme?

In fault finding and motors it is well organised. But instrumentation there is little work to do. And with fire alarms and soldering there is little work
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive support from Sellafield. But from the lakes side it is not the best

Not a lot.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

In the first year tech certs didn’t link with the work a lot. But in second year it links up a lot better
