Overall, how would you describe your experience at Forvis Mazars?
Very positive experience overall that has given me an outstanding platform for the rest of my accountancy career. The staff culture has been incredibly social and senior members have massively contributed towards my professional development
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
Reviewing companies financial statements and assessing whether any material mistatements are present.
The areas I have enjoyed the most is the amount of training and learning opportunities available for the role. I started the position with little to no knowledge on the position and now feel as if I am well equipped for the world of finance.

Training is a large part of the role both on the job and off the job and IO believe staff managers dedicate a large amount of time to training which has aided my development

How is the support you receive?

I receive frequent communications with my line manager and staff on my team aswell as meetings with introductory buddys and other staff. HR and early careers teams are very responsive.
How is your work-life balance?

Generally a 9-5 working hours, which is strong in London although in audit busy season these hours can increase and additional time needs to be allocated towards ACA revision
