Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Day-to-day basis involves meetings, structural analysis by hand calculations and software packages (Tedds, GSA-Oasys), designing connection details, and reviewing subcontractors' connection designs.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes - throughout these 6 weeks placement, I’ve been given varied workloads and responsibilities of a few different projects
