Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I support the sales team by preparing quotes, processing orders, and making sure all pricing and product details are accurate before submission. I communicate regularly with account managers, suppliers, and customers to provide updates, confirm availability, and resolve any issues that arise, such as delays or stock problems. I also track orders through to delivery, maintain accurate records in internal systems, and assist with reports and general administrative tasks like managing inboxes and organising documentation.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy my apprenticeship at Computacenter because it gives me the opportunity to learn while gaining real hands-on experience in a professional environment. I like being part of the inside sales team, supporting day-to-day operations, and seeing how everything comes together to help close deals and keep customers satisfied. The role has helped me build my confidence, improve my communication skills, and become more organised and detail-focused. I also enjoy working with my colleagues and learning from their experience, which has made the apprenticeship rewarding.

During my apprenticeship at Computacenter, I have not only gained new skills but also developed my existing ones further. I have strengthened my organisational abilities by managing multiple tasks more efficiently and prioritising my workload effectively. My communication skills have improved as I interact more confidently and professionally with colleagues, suppliers, and customers. I have also enhanced my attention to detail, ensuring greater accuracy when processing orders and handling data. In addition, my confidence and problem-solving skills have grown, allowing me to handle challenges more independently and contribute more effectively to the team.
