Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
My role includes being on multiple projects daily, helping and assisting my senior colleges with daily task which gains responsibility daily.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I love my programme as I am gaining hands on experience in work as well as progressing my degree in university via university blocks every quarter. this allows me to separate work life and university work.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I started my apprenticeship straight from school so I have learned key skills such as:
- email writing
- time keeping
- responsibility
- programme skills i.e. excel, word, PowerPoint, Microsoft project etc.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
As mentioned I love the structure of my apprenticeship. I work full time and spend 2 weeks every quarter attending my university campus for in person lectures. following these university block i have coursework to work on during the quatre. this allows me to separate both work and uni and use my time efficiently.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
CBRE are amazing at providing support with my work. Every coworker is always happy to help with my coursework or review it when needed.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
Edinburgh Napier provide an okay level of support.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
Although my role is a project manager, my degree is Building Surveying due to there being no project management pathway. Due to this my qualification doesn't have a huge impact on my role however it does provide an understanding of the wider business which is hugely beneficial for a project manager.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
At CBRE there is multiple social networking events throughout the year with other surrounding companies. There is also multiple internal events through CBRE's next generation committee which allows budget for the apprentices and graduates in each office to host social events per year. There is also a CBRE Glasgow football team which meets weekly.

Would you recommend CBRE Group to a friend?
Yes
Why?
Due to my experience I would highly recommend CBRE to a friend. The experience has been highly beneficial and I truly believe that you would not receive this amount of support elsewhere.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to CBRE Group?
