Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
My role consisted of working in the Category Team where I would be in close communication with the team, and they would give me tasks to complete. These tasks often consist of data analysis and market research. There are also weekly and monthly tasks that you are given.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes in this role I was given solo projects that were used high up the organization and for external partners.

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
In this role I have been able to learn lots of skills. The first of these being my communication skills, working in a smaller team has meant I have been able to improve this. Another skill is my data analysis, as a large part of this role consists of this it means I have been able to become very comfortable and gain a good understanding of this.

Support and Guidance
How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
Everyone was very friendly when starting and told me I could contact them if ever in need. I was given a mentor who gave me a nice introduction and was someone I was able to talk to whenever. My team aswell were always very kind and helping if I was ever in need.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I enjoyed this placement a lot. There was variation of work and although there were times where tasks became repetitive there was still good amounts of variation. The company culture and the people I worked with made it very enjoyable and it exceeded my expectations for a year in industry

There is lots of history around the company when applying I would recommend doing research on it as there are also multiple branches of the organization that you will be working with.
