Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
As a Logistics Student Placement at Bosch und Siemens Hausgeräte UK, I support the improvement of warehouse performance through data analysis, KPI monitoring, and reporting using tools like Power BI. I assist in logistics projects—such as evaluating pallet transitions—by conducting stakeholder interviews and process reviews. My role also involves identifying opportunities for innovation and supporting function managers in driving operational efficiency across the Central Customer Hub.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, I am involved in the day to day operations. I was assigned a project from the on set of my placement which had be learning and getting involved with the operations so that I can get the needed knowledge to undertake this project.
