Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
My role includes training as an audit associate. I work in private capital audit. On a day to day basis, I do audit work with my team and this could be from at home, in office or at a client site. When exams come up, you do college courses a few weeks before where you learn the content instead of working. You do have to juggle lots and prioritise these exams when they come up but it is manageable.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I enjoy my program a lot. You learn so many new skills and gain loads of knew knowledge. Everyone at the office I am based are so friendly which makes the working environment a nice place to be.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I have learnt lots in audit and accounting and have many new modules to come up and learn. You also gain many soft skills such as more quality communication, better confidence and you really can do achieve independence too.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
I would say it is well structured. The programme has a training period when you first join where you learn the basics. All college courses attended too are very structured day-by-day. You also have a calendar which spans over the year so you can see what you are up to.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
I feel very supported. If this be by my colleagues, people managers or external providers. There's many options of places you can go if you seek support.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
We receive lots of support. We can use our college tutors and/or our learning/development coaches.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
I would say it helps you with your job as what you are studying is relevant to what you perform everyday.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
There are lots of well planned socials where you can network/ hang out with your colleagues outside of the workplace. I would say at my office we have a social once a month or so. Each office gets a social budget where the social committee plans what to do so you can have a say in what socials take place.
