Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
Over the pas couple of months we have completed a Part 1 and Part 2 training, and we have had 2 Consolidation learnings.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
The training is very intensive, but is a valuable learning need in becoming an effective work coach.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Each day there is something new that I am learning. I have learnt all about how to talk to customers and to ask the correct questions that will help them on their way to getting a job. I have also learnt that it is very important to use active listening and to try and build a good rapport with the customer.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
At first I was a little overwhelmed with the amount of training and having to do the apprenticeship at the same time. However as time as moved on, I feel that I am getting to grips with both the training and the apprenticeship.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
My employer has been very supportive to me along with all the other work coaches who have been only to pleased to support me too. I really cannot fault any of them.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
Considering I have not long been on the Apprenticeship, it is hard to say. However I do have a 1-2-1 meeting with my assessor today, where we will discuss where I need to go to from now on. This is a difficult one to score at this time, but what I have needed to know, they have provided for me.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
At first I found it difficult, especially with all the training I have to do. Hopefully as I go through the apprenticeship, I will pick up some valuable lessons that will help me within my job role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
Yes, in the summer there is always get togethers, to do sports activities and events. I am very much looking forward to the summer, so that I can join in with those events and activities.
