I do enjoy my current programme which teaches me all about improvement projects and how to recognise what needs improving and how to go about initializing the improvement process.
Quite different to initializing a project.

Why?
They are a very supportive employer to work for.
Once you show interest in development, your line manager would bend over backwards to accommodate the initiative.
I have been very well supported in my training.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Department for Work and Pensions?
First of all, ensure you perform your role to the best of your ability.
And become recognised for carrying out your duties with diligence
Offer great customer services.
Accommodate other work initiatives such as been as specialist in a field offering immense support to colleague.
Apply for mentorship programs if offered and complete them.
Drop hints or discuss with your line manager of your plans to advance and are interested in Leadership opportunities.
Apply for relevant Apprentiship and carry your line manager along.
