Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
I have been promoted since beginning my apprenticeship - but have remained as a Customer Journey Manager throughout. This involves being responsible for the colleague experience throughout their use of HR technology systems, continuous improvement, data insights, and problem solving to produce the most value to colleagues.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
Greta opportunities at the group, and you are not treated as I would have expected an apprentice to be treated, given great opportunities and a lot of responsibility early on which is great for development.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Yes loads of new skills. I'd never worked in technology or HR. I have attended training, bootcamps, and given presenting opportunities to senior group positions. Time to Grow and technology courses within the group were also very useful for me.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
It begins very structured, however I think the lack of clarity about what happens at the end of the apprenticeship causes nerves - and in my case made me inclined to apply for another role internally to feel secure.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
Great support for my learning needs from my employer.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
Great support, tutor always available to help when i needed.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
My role was quite niche and technical rather than being about a lot of the HR qualification. However I do thin k it gave me good background knowledge of HR practices.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
Yes, I set up my own Art Group and this was heavbily supported by Workplace Experience.
