As a technical specialist, I provide answers to NDA strategic decisions by conducting strategic reviews. I also provide material science and engineering expertise to my local area.

The job itself is great, the apprenticeship and education side of things were poor and unorganised for the majority of my apprenticeship but did start to improve towards the end

The current climate is volatile at best, accessing site is a constant battle between strikes, poor access arrangements, and workplace traffic. This extends your working days into so many additional hours that you do not get paid for.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Sellafield Ltd?
If you are passionate about nuclear, then apply. If you aren't passionate, then apply elsewhere.
