As a Next Generation Talent Consultant, I manage the learning and development experience for over 500 graduates and apprentices, ensuring programmes are engaging, structured, and aligned to business needs.
I oversee graduate performance management processes, using data and automation to improve how performance is tracked and reviewed, and to support better decision-making.
I also work closely with Talent Partners and business stakeholders, providing insights, improving processes, and helping shape early careers programmes to attract, develop, and retain high-performing talent.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I’m really enjoying being part of the programme, especially the variety it brings to my work. I love being able to learn something new and immediately apply it in my role — it makes the development feel practical, relevant and genuinely valuable. Having the chance to build my capability while working alongside real projects has helped the learning “stick”, and I’ve found it motivating to see the impact of the skills I’m building day‑to‑day. The mix of study and on‑the‑job application has been a real highlight for me.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I’ve developed massively throughout the programme, particularly in my communication and stakeholder management skills. I’ve become far more confident in how I engage with colleagues at all levels, adapting my style, structuring information clearly, and communicating with greater impact. Working alongside my role has meant I’ve been able to apply what I’m learning straight away, which has boosted both my capability and my confidence. Overall, I feel much stronger in how I build relationships, influence effectively, and contribute with assurance in key discussions.
