Data analysis who works primarily on a large dynamic microsimulation model used to forecast workload demand.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Great programme - enjoying it so far and am being taught by an expert in the field.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Learning how to use simul8 - and learnt lots about the different types of simulations. It's sort of making me think that my team could do things better themselves too and I want to use what I learn to change my model for the better.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

1 module at a time, and part time. Excellent.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Provided me with software to do the apprenticeship as much as they can on my work laptop. I also receive the day on Monday where I don't work.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Quite a bit of support I think, the apprenticeship advisor is very knowledgeable and the university staff are very approachable.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I think it does help me perform better - My understanding of systems has greatly improved.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

I am a strand lead for developing courses at DWP - it takes up the majority of my time. Bur I enjoy it very much.
