Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
"Data scientist involved in a range of projects that have utilised: LLMs, cloud services, ML, analytics, and storytelling."
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
Lots of great hands on experience, though BPP's support for accessibility needs could be improved + technical compatibility (e.g., can't access some tools needed for the course via work machines) could be better.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Learnt many new skills regarding LLMs, transformers, software engineering, storytelling

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
Well structured
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
Employer is very supportive, though some issues could have been detected before occurring
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
It is mostly excellent, though support for accessibility needs needs to be updated as currently it is quite a long process to fill out many forms before extenuating circumstances can be made for coursework submissions - even for those who have a plan in place already
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
The course currently isn't directly, as it is the first year and is quite simple, but I imagine in the 2nd and 3rd year the modules will be more relevant. That said, the assignments do allow me to apply a more thorough approach to relevant work.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
There have been some good ones, but most have been data science/tech related - would be good if there were more activities.
