In my role within the Department for Work and Pensions, I support customers by helping them access the services, guidance, and financial support they need. My day‑to‑day work involves engaging with a wide range of people, understanding their circumstances, and providing clear information to help them move towards employment or improve their financial wellbeing. I handle case management tasks, maintain accurate records, and ensure that all interactions follow DWP policies and service standards. I also work collaboratively with colleagues and partner organisations to resolve issues, improve customer outcomes, and contribute to the smooth running of the service.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I am really enjoying my apprenticeship programme. It’s helping me build new skills, develop my confidence, and apply what I’m learning directly to my role. I appreciate the support, the structured learning, and the opportunity to grow within DWP.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
