• Influence the development of DWP Digital’s digital sustainability strategy, aligning with the department’s wider environmental goals and the Greening of Government Commitments
• Manage the delivery of DWP’s digital emissions baseline, coordinating effort across each directorate within DWP Digital
• Develop delivery roadmaps with clear milestones and measurable targets, engaging teams to align their work with the strategy
• Engage and influence a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including senior leaders, technical teams, delivery managers, and governance colleagues
• Identify and manage risks, interdependencies and change impacts across digital sustainability programmes and initiatives
• Coordinate internal activity to ensure that DWP Digital is audit-ready, supporting evidence gathering and preparation for external reviews or assessments
• Organise and host events, workshops, and forums to increase engagement, build capability, and showcase progress on sustainability
• Represent DWP Digital at cross-government working groups and external events, including delivering presentations and contributing to thought leadership
• Support the development of case studies, internal communications and reports to support transparency, learning and continuous improvement
• Promote a culture of sustainability and innovation, embedding continuous improvement and supporting others to develop skills and knowledge in the area
• Work collaboratively across boundaries and functions to ensure effective delivery, joined up thinking and efficient use of resources
