Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
As an Apprenticeship Programme Coordinator, I manage key relationships with apprenticeship training providers and conduct monthly progress reviews to ensure learner success. I provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to apprentices throughout their full programme lifecycle, preparing them for End Point Assessment (EPA) and supporting a positive and confident workplace experience. I collaborate with the marketing team to promote Early Careers programmes by collecting apprentice insights, creating engaging content, and coordinating photography and case studies. I also design and deliver apprentice events to encourage networking and raise the profile of the programme both internally and externally within Computacenter.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
Alongside my role, I am completing the Level 3 Team Leader Apprenticeship Standard as part of my professional development. I enjoy my programme a great deal. It has been both challenging and rewarding, and has given me practical tools that I can apply directly in my role. It has increased my confidence as a leader and strengthened my ability to coach and support apprentices effectively.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Yes, I have developed existing skills and gained new ones. The programme has enhanced my leadership capability, improved my communication and coaching skills, and helped me to manage my time more effectively while balancing my role and studies. These skills have already had a positive impact on how I support and guide apprentices in my role.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
The programme is well organised and clearly structured, with a strong mix of interactive workshops and frequent one-to-one sessions with my skills coach. The content is delivered in a logical order, and expectations and deadlines are communicated clearly, which helps me manage my workload and make steady progress throughout the programme.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I receive a very good level of support from my employer. I am given the time needed to attend workshops and one-to-one sessions with my skills coach, and I am encouraged to apply the learning in my role, which has made a positive difference to my development.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
I receive a very good level of support from my training provider while working towards my qualification. This includes frequent one-to-one sessions with my skills coach, interactive workshops, and clear guidance on expectations and progress, which helps me stay motivated and confident throughout the programme.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
My qualification supports me strongly in performing my role more effectively. The learning is highly relevant to my responsibilities and has improved my leadership, communication, and coaching skills, which I use regularly in my day-to-day work.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
Yes, there are many extra-curricular activities available at work, including apprentice networks that provide opportunities to connect with other apprentices, social and networking events, and volunteering initiatives in schools and with charities, which support both personal development and community engagement.
