To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I have greatly enjoyed my program so far, the work is engaging and interesting with a good level of challenge, whilst maintaining an amazing work-life balance.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt new skills whilst also developing existing skills from a technical and functional perspective, whether that's giving tours and presentations to large audiences, or improving my competency using various tools and machines.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

Generally, the programme is well structured with a clear roadmap on progress as well as clear goals for the long, short and medium term, ensuring there is always something to work towards to better yourself and improve on or learn new skills. Future work can be uncertain at times but this is due to the contractual nature of the business, however it is made clear that ,as an apprentice, there will always be a place and a project to get involved with.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Support is excellent, having monthly check ins with line managers as well as quarterly check in with senior managers ensure that any and all questions are answered, opportunities are discussed and progress is tracked.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Should support be needed there is a strong support network to ensure that any queries or issues are resolved and dealt with.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The qualification is engineering theory only which often does not overlap with a technical role which is hands on, however it does provide a strong understanding for engineering principles and provides a good basis for career progression into the engineering field.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are a wide range of outreach events, from speed networking to careers talks and fairs, which provides us with the opportunity to give back and inspire the next generation in our industry.
