1 year gap between NC and HNC in college which i feel isn't a good idea as you should move straight onto it so it is still fresh in your mind. Rotations aren't planned well as i was sat for almost 6 months doing nothing and would get bother for not doing anything. Only been doing some things recently as the junior engineers have asked me
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Support is okay, I feel like there should be more for us apprentices as especially when we are sat doing nothing we could work on college work or portfolios from home instead of coming into office to do the exact same thing and make u feel useless.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Meeting once a month which i think it should be twice a month especially if you are trying to complete portfolio. Tell assessor should understand new portfolio before giving it to apprentices to complete as we do not know what we are doing.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

College gives a rough idea behind engineering while keeping you busy but once you come onsite you font use much of it

Why?
Long, boring days in office where rotations aren't planned very well and sometimes you can be sat for months doing nothing which I'm sure everyone hates as you are not learning anything. Portfolio not planned well as its new and not even the assessors are really aware of this.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Lockheed Martin?
Have a real think about weather it is really something you want to do, as i didn't and am not enjoying it.
