Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I am in the protein science team and we focus on purifying recombinant proteins. Most of the time is spent doing these purifications and writing this up

How much support do you receive from your employer?

My manager and team are always happy to support me with my work and any questions I may have. The early careers department have had little impact on my apprenticeship.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My university lecturers are always available by email and have drop-in hours to book if needed. The main two lecturers are great with their responses and feedback, but others have been less helpful.

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

While some of the content from the university courses are interesting, most of it doesn't relate to what I do in my job. It is mandatory to link the KSBs covered in each module to my work, but it feels like some of the time the link between them is stretched.
