Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role involves working in the biopharmaceutical team on the development of late stage drug products. Day to day I run tests on drug products and analyse data from tests to assess how products will react in the human body.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy the apprenticeship programme and have felt well supported by staff and colleagues.

The programme has been very well organised so far, I am given plenty of notice with work deadlines and events I need to attend.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I have regular meetings with my line manager and mentor where I can bring up any issues I have and discuss progress.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I attend university in person once a year meaning contact with lectures is limited to online. However, my lectures are very attentive over email and the course structure is clear and organised.

There are lots of opportunities to network and socialise!
At work I am part of the social society for apprentices which plans monthly social events.
I am also part of the netball team which involves weekly training and games.
Professional networking evets are arranged in work every few months and work organises socials such as quizzes every so often.

Why?
It is a brilliant company. There is a great network of apprentices and colleagues who have helped me fit in. My day to day job is better than I could have expected, being around experts in the industry inspires me everyday.
