Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Within my job role I support a number of apprentices within the organisation to gain their qualifications. Alongside this being my role I am also completing a Level 5 apprenticeship in Professional Coaching to support my practice and career. I am able to use this knowledge to support and incorporate a coaching culture within the organisation and ensure that all existing employees are supporting with internal progression.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I love my apprenticeship programme. I have gained an extensive amount of knowledge that has supported me develop in my career and practice. I am confidently holding coaching conversations and supporting others to develop and internally progress.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have developed a huge variety of skills from active listening, different coaching models, the importance of feedback and a number of different ways to support and guide people to think for themselves and independently.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

My programme is structured very well. I receive monthly masterclasses and 121 meetings, along with quarterly progress reviews. I have a clear understanding of deadlines and get regular feedback on my submissions.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer are extremely supportive. I am given regular time out of my usual job role to ensure I am writing up my assignments and tasks. Alongside this I am also receiving regular Off The Job activities.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My training provider, Impact Futures, are fantastic. The development coach is always accessible and gives great feedback and guidance for support.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The qualification has given me a lot of new knowledge that I am able to put immediately into practice. I have gained confidence in how to support my colleagues and how to ensure that all employees are being motivated appropriately.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

My organisation regularly hold training days and team building activities. These are great opportunities to get together as a large collective and all learn something new while also mixing and socialising with each other.
