Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Role includes rotations between demand planning, import/export, customer services and the demand planning team at the manufacturing site.
Responsibilities in demand planning and import/export (have not yet started customer service/manufacturing site rotations) include:
Support demand planning team by refreshing daily/weekly reports
Replenishing 4PL stock levels
Investigating stock discrepancies
Analysing surplus/destruction risks for monthly meetings with internal stakeholders
Investigating import document discrepancies
Providing clearance for road entries (imports)
