Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

I work across a range of HR areas, including onboarding, employee relations, talent management, and compensation & benefits. I help deliver events, support HR initiatives, contribute to the Early Careers Programme, and analyse data to support the team’s work.

Yes, I’ve been trusted to take ownership of responsibilities and lead projects throughout my internship.

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?

I’ve learned a lot more about different areas of HR. I’ve also developed my communication and project management skills, become more confident adapting my approach to different audiences, improved my data analysis skills, and gained experience using Microsoft tools.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

I was impressed by how many people have stayed with the company for 20+ years, and many of them have told me it's the people and culture that have made them stay. The culture is very supportive, employees are valued, and I've always felt welcomed and supported throughout my internship.
