Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
I assist the Procurement and Contracts team with a variety of tasks, mainly helping with tender processes and working alongside suppliers to procure goods and services for the company. My role also involves communications with internal contract managers and assisting them day to day with managing contracts to ensure everything is running smoothly.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I love where I work. Everyone I work with is a team, that help and support each other in a really positive environment. This extends further even outside with the people I immediately work with. The apprenticeship programme also encourages lots of networking and team building, to help with developing soft skills and communication with likeminded people who work in all areas across the organisation.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
On our apprentice residential to Devon, I was able to develop my leadership skills in a range of teamwork tasks where all of the apprentices were challenged in one way or another to step outside of their comfort zones. I found this really beneficial to bring back into the workplace because it allowed me to work better with my team and boost my confidence.

During interviews, be your most genuine and honest self. HRP doesn't look for lots of experience or outstanding grades, they're looking to find individuals potential that they can contribute to the organisation.
