Communications and marketing for secondary academy. Keeping diary for Principal and events.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoyed learning all the skills and knowledge for my apprenticeship. It has given me an overview and multiple future pathways to explore.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have been in admin for multiple organisations and education for many years but for a variety of reasons did not have the skills to progress further. The skills I have learned through this course will open many doors for me.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

There is some cross over from assignment to assignment, so following a specific order really helps to build on your learning. However it is also possible to move modules around, if it helps.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I found that a lot of the course is aimed at locally governed schools, rather than multi academy trusts and so I found it difficult to produce some of the evidence required. The staff I contacted were all very keen to help and supportive, but at times unable to help.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My tutor has been amazing. She helps me to understand what I need to do, allows me the space to research and gain the knowledge and then pushes me to reach a little further each time.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I have been promoted during my time on the course, which would have been unlikely without the new knowledge I had gained from it. It has also supported knowledge development in my new role and opened potential opportunities for the future.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are all sorts of opportunities to get involved, if you want to be and opportunities to facilitate new ones if nothing suits your interests.
