To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy my programme as I think I have really good support within my team. With my line manager also completing the same degree I am studying she has experience in CIPS. I also enjoy apprenticeships as opposed to university as I get a better feel for the role I am studying for; it makes me feel like I'm studying for a career instead of a degree.

I fel like I have an understanding of the knowledge and process behind decisions which is really useful when it comes to new project. I am feeling more and more able to work independently
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

My apprenticeship has tutoring sessions once a week that delivers the learning in a class of people. Once a month I have a mentor session with someone where we discuss off the job hours, my progression and anything I need help with. In my actual role I have regular support from my manager and other members of the team helping so I have time to complete apprenticeship work.

I have been to the schools and academies show which was a 2 day event with framework providers and some suppliers we already use.

It is a very freindly organisation and feels very close knit for how large and spread out everyone is.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Oasis Community Learning?
Just be yourself. OCL is very diverse and is grateful for personalities and individuality.
