Overall, how would you describe your experience at Oasis Community Learning?
Its been positive, I enjoy teaching and leading my team.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
As Head of Science I lead a team of teachers and technician. I am responsible for raising attainment in my subject area and that includes providing training for my team, planning assessments and analysing the data to produce MTPs to reduce gaps or areas of weakness.
As AAP I lead on personal development; delivery of PHSE curriculum, implementing a new house system to increase belonging and student engagement in school activities, student voice and student leadership.
