My role on a day-to-day basis includes checking in with our vulnerable children, dealing with any safeguarding concerns, carrying out targeted interventions with groups/individual children and making home visits as part of Oasis' policy.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I thoroughly enjoy my programme, everyday is different which means I am learning something new everyday. I have created a safe space with the children due to the programme which helps make my job easier as I am seen as a trusted adult and someone they can always rely on.

I have developed my existing skills aswell as learnt new ones that help me to do my job even better.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The structure of my programme is very easy and accessible. It is organised in a way that makes it simple for me to complete any assignments and tasks.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive support from my employer in different ways. I am provided with opportunities to ask questions regarding my assignments and also given the time to research and type them up.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My training provider provide me with alot of support throughout my programme. I know that they are only an email away if I am in need of any extra support or insight. My tutor always goes above and beyond to ensure that I am completing my assignments to a high standard ensuring I have achieved greater depths.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

By completing this programme, it helps me to perform exceptionally better in my role. It gives me a deep understanding and expands my knowledge.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

We have a staff book club for well-being, there are also alot of opportunities provided by the school for personal development.
