To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I enjoy my programme for the most part because I find working with young children rewarding. It can be difficult at times, especially when supporting children with special needs, but these challenges have helped me develop patience, adaptability, and confidence in my role.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
Even though I previously worked in a nursery, I’ve still learnt new skills and built on the ones I already had. I’ve developed better behaviour-management techniques, improved my ability to support children with special needs, and become more confident in helping with learning and assessments.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
My apprenticeship programme is generally well organised and provides a clear structure for my learning. The balance between practical experience and training works well. Although it can be challenging at busy times, the programme is set up in a way that supports my development and helps me manage my responsibilities.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I receive strong support from my employer. My line manager is very supportive and understanding, and he always makes time to help me, give guidance, and check on my progress. This has really helped my confidence and development.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
I receive a good level of support from my training provider when working towards my qualifications. My tutor is easy to contact and always willing to explain tasks, give feedback, and guide me through any areas I find challenging. The resources and online sessions are helpful, and I feel that I can reach out whenever I need clarification or reassurance. Their support helps me stay on track with my assignments and feel confident about my progress.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
My qualification really helps me in my role. The training gives me a stronger understanding of early years practice, and I can use what I learn straight away in the setting. It has definitely improved my confidence and skills.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
Yes, we do have extra-curricular activities. There are staff quizzes and yoga sessions that everyone can take part in, which help with team bonding and wellbeing.
