Overview of the Role

Overall, how would you describe your experience at Financial Conduct Authority (FCA)?
The graduate programme has been fantastic so far, developing a range of soft and technical skills while equipping me with a deep and broad understanding of UK financial services. By the time I roll off the scheme, I will have gained working exposure to numerous FCA divisions across retail and wholesale markets. I am also being funded to complete a L6 qualification alongside my work, with generous study leave provided.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
External engagement, financial analysis, risk analysis, project management, document drafting and numerous other skills. My work has evolved constantly throughout my time on the scheme.
To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?

Throughout my graduate scheme, I have been given work that is clearly impactful on the organisation, UK firms and the wider market.

Excellent, through both my L6 qualification in financial regulation + compliance and the skills acquired in-role across my 3 rotations throughout the scheme.
