Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Responsible to audit areas of the financial statements - such as debtors, creditors and other section.
Lots of work with various clients - communication methods were either via teams or on the clients site.
Managing multiple audits at one time and working together in audit teams to communicate on progress
Staying up to date with the relevant guidlines
Lots of work on Excel
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Lots - placement students have no study leave/exams, so the 12 months is spent getting lots of exposure to audit life. On my first day out of training I was straight onto a client office. You are responsible to manage your own sections within a few months.
