Overview of Experience

Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.

During the scheme, I took part in daily workshops that improved my understanding of the firm and its practice areas. I also attended talks from a range of professionals, including the MP for Cornwall, which gave me valuable insight into both legal and public-sector perspectives.
I worked on tasks such as preparing a presentation on clinical negligence, which helped me apply what I was learning.
Overall, the scheme was a fantastic experience that helped me grow in confidence and knowledge while working alongside like-minded individuals.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?

Learning about the business and the potential roles available helped me understand the different paths I could pursue in the future. It clarified the opportunities within the firm and showed me that the culture and values are the right fit for me.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

The company culture was very collaborative and engaging. Everyone seemed very happy to be there and took the time out of their day to provide us interns with advice and answer any questions. The atmosphere was very welcoming.
