Overview of the Role

Overall, how would you describe your experience at L'Oreal?
L'Oreal are obsessed with their graduate programme. Ex-grads fill most of the senior positions, and you regularly meet people who've spent 15+ years at the company, despite other companies offering better pay. The vibe is so great that people don't want to leave, so L'Oreal feel comfortable investing a lot in their graduates.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
Data management, sales forecasting, and making excel sheets.
To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?
4/5
We are always actively encouraged to contribute meaningfully. The idea is to have a portfolio of projects from each rotation on the grad scheme to showcase what skills we have learnt.
How does your compensation package - including perks & benefits - fairly remunerate you for the work you do?
5/5
The pay is fairly standard for a graduate scheme. However, 60% off all cosmetics means that Christmas / birthday presents are extremely cheap.
How well do you feel the role is preparing you for your future career?
5/5
How would you rate the extent to which you were developing new or existing skills through formal training and your day-to-day role?

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend L'Oreal to a friend?
Yes
Why?
L'Oreal has such a fun, sociable vibe.
How well did the role match your expectations based on the recruitment process?
4/5
It's great, the only issue is I'd hoped to be able to move between functions. However, it is proving incredibly difficult to try a commercial rotation while in operations.
When considering the recruitment & onboarding process, have you any specific tips or advice you would give to others applying to L'Oreal?
Be sociable, honest, friendly.
