Overall, how would you describe your experience at BAM?
Since joining BAM as a Finance Assistant after university, I’ve gained valuable experience in the construction industry and working on financial processes. Alongside my role, I’ve been studying for my CIMA exams, which has helped me deepen my understanding of management accounting and apply theory to real-world scenarios. This period has been a steep learning curve, but it’s strengthened my technical skills, industry knowledge, and professional confidence.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
Accruals, booked cost reports and other business reporting. I have enjoyed using excel and PowerBI
