Overall, how would you describe your experience at Irwin Mitchell?
Overall, my experience at Irwin Mitchell has been highly rewarding and supportive. The training contract has given me exposure to complex, high-value cases and the opportunity to work closely with experienced solicitors across different practice areas. I’ve developed practical skills in case management, client care, and legal drafting, while also gaining confidence in handling sensitive matters under tight deadlines. The firm’s collaborative culture and commitment to professional development have made it an excellent environment to learn and grow.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
“My main responsibilities include managing case files, liaising with clients and experts, drafting legal documents, and ensuring compliance with court deadlines. I particularly enjoy the variety and complexity of the work, especially coordinating expert evidence and working on serious injury cases where attention to detail and problem-solving are key. I also value the client interaction and the opportunity to contribute to achieving positive outcomes for individuals in challenging circumstances.
